Summary of tour route

Why not do three Ocean points on the compass, South, West and East of Southern Africa. Making Vic falls the Northern point, all South of the Equator, this tour covers South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Swaziland? Starting from Cape Town head North up the West Coast, up to proper desert in Namibia. In Namibia onto the West Coast at Swakopmund. Continuing on up north along dense bush land into the Caprivi strip along to Vic Falls in Zimbabwe, via Maun in Botswana. From there via various game reserves and back routes to Bulawayo. Over the border back into South Africa then via the lush north eastern province via more game parks into Swaziland. Finally back down via more game reserves to back to semi-tropical Durban. From Durban on the East Coast, heading inland to the lush green Drakensberg mountains, through the Transkei and Eastern Cape down through the many mountain passes and through semi desert Karoo to Cape Town in the South. |
